Our journey is to kiss all those thresholds whose lamps have illuminated the country with their lives.
Through this journey, the aim is to visit the homes of martyrs and build “Shaurya Van” from the soil of their courtyards. Through this journey, we will also know the real situation of their families.
After the Pulwama attack, Indians came forward to help the families of the martyrs. Financial help was also received from all sides, from celebrities to the common man. The government also has an emphasis on providing financial help to the families. Although financial help is welcome, there are other ways and means of helping the families of martyrs. Hence, ensuring more durable support that will help them in the long run. Abraham Lincoln rightly said, “A nation that does not honor its heroes will not long stand.” But then people forget everything. We should never forget that Shaurya Naman Foundation, an organization inspired by these thoughts, is continuously working to serve the families of martyrs.
There are countless families of martyred soldiers who need the support and help of the entire country. Now is the time that Indians should take some additional small steps towards becoming a support system for the families of the martyrs.
Jai Hind!
